A Successful, Rewarding Season for Woodcreek LAX
The 2012 season was a very successful, rewarding season for all three of the club’s teams. In only its second year, the Varsity had its first winning season, made the playoffs and put a scare into the state’s top-ranked team. The Junior Varsity also made the playoffs for the first time, and our U-15 team began laying the seeds for our club’s future success. Thanks to all the players, coaches, parents and club friends for making this season so successful! Think about how far our club has come in only three years.
Indoor Season on the Calendar
With our outdoor season behind us, it’s time to start thinking about indoor lacrosse. Woodcreek will be conducting its annual indoor season once again at California Family Fitness in Rocklin. This year, the indoor league will have U15, U17 and U19 divisions open to lacrosse players throughout the Sacramento area. Games will be held on Sundays, except Labor Day weekend; the season runs from Aug. 12 through Sept. 30. Woodcreek’s indoor league is open to both new and experienced players. It provides a great opportunity to learn the sport as well as hone your skills during the off-season. Registration will be held June 17 through July 8.
