Season Schedules Now Available
Game schedules are now available for Woodcreek’s Varsity, Junior Varsity and U15 teams. The season kicks off Saturday, Feb. 25, in Redding for our JV and Varsity squads; U15 has their inaugural game the following Saturday, March 3, at home. Pre-Season Kicks Off for Woodcreek LAX Squads
All three of the Woodcreek Lacrosse Club teams have kicked off their 2012 pre-season with an intensive practice and conditioning program. Coaches are very optimistic about the squads this year as they prepare for the regular season that begins in late February. The practice schedule will continue on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6-8:30 p.m., at the high school through the month of January. In February, the practice schedule will increase.
Mark your calendars for a couple of key dates in late February:
Tuesday, Feb. 21 – Woodcreek LAX will be holding a fundraiser at Skipolinis Pizza & Pasta, 6600 Lonetree Blvd., in Rocklin, from 5-9 p.m. Skipolin’s will donate 15% and Dolce Bene will donate 20% of your purchase to help the club. Coaches will issue team jerseys and shorts at the restaurant, so please make sure you come by and say you are with Woodcreek Lacrosse. This is for the U15, JV and Varsity squads.
Saturday, Feb 25-26 – The Woodcreek JV and Varsity travel to Redding for their season openers. Both teams kick off at 11 a.m. Saturday, with follow-up games on Sunday. If you have not yet received team hotel information, please contact Tanya Moroyuqui. Our U15 team also kicks off their season that weekend, with game time and location to be released soon.
Varsity & Junior Varsity Rosters Announced

U17 Fall Tournament Team
Woocreek Lacrosse fielded a U17 team during the recent Ryquin Harvest Fall Tournament at Sac State and definitely held their own against some of the best teams in the area. Pictured here, the boys relax after three games in one day.
